The Niugini Islands or the New Guinea islands is an area located in the northeast of Papua New Guinea. They stretch from the Manus Islands in the north, New Ireland East New Britain West New Britain ( New Britain Island) and Bouganville Island in the south-east.
Rich in military history the area is a seafarer’s dream with some fantastic sailing, surf, fishing and diving. Like anywhere in Papua New Guinea, the Islands Niugini all have a story of their own, and many pockets of rich cultural traditions remain raw and untainted to this day.
