Kokoda Spirit Trek

SSH-BHMT’s Spirit trek is an itinerary that proposes a challenge for our trekker but over the course of 9 days, our trekker will be able to enjoy the pleasures and hospitality of the local Koairi villages. So we see this trek as one that is challenging both physically and mentally but it doesnt feel rushed. The Spirit trek starts from Kokoda and ends at ower’s Corner. The trek includes sleepovers at all BHMT cooperative villages so our trekker will receive beautiful receptions at each of the villages that visit. At Menari village we will be greeted by Saii Faole’s father “Bokoi” who is one of three remaining fuzzy wuzzy angels along the track. Recently commenced between Cairns and Port Moresby is regular flights by Airlines of PNG. Domestically, apart from Air Niugini flights to the various provinces other airlines are Airlines of PNG, Islands Nation Air, Trans Niugini Airways, MAF and Regional Air.
